Common Separator (CS)

A weak class for common separators such as commas, full stops, colons, and slashes. When placed between two numbers of the same type, they are treated as part of that number (for example, in decimal numbers or dates). In other contexts, they act as neutral characters and inherit direction from surrounding text.

Below you will find all the characters assigned the Common Separator (CS) bidirectional class in Unicode. Currently there are 15 characters in this class.
